Isatis Capital supports Pitchy, European leader in video creation solutions

Pitchy, the European leader in video creation solutions for large companies, has announced a €40m round of financing alongside Isatis Capital, Entrepreneur Invest and Seventure Partners.

Video creation software solution

Founded in 2013 by Lionel and Benjamin Chouraqui, in 10 years Pitchy has become the European leader in its segment, offering a software solution that enables its customers to create professional-quality videos on their own, positioning itself as a genuine alternative to the traditional content creation agency model.

A portfolio of over 1,000 customers

The company, which has built its success around a natively SaaS solution, allows users to produce an unlimited number of videos using templates, for all corporate departments: marketing, internal and external communications, human resources, sales, customer relations, finance, etc. The company's pioneering position in B2B has given it a portfolio of over 1,000 customers. This customer portfolio is mainly made up of major accounts based in Europe who are creating more and more content.

Accelerating growth

Pitchy now wants to capitalise on its historic leadership position to accelerate the company's growth around 3 major development axes: (i) accelerating penetration of key accounts, which have always been the company's customer base, (ii) strengthening international expansion, particularly in the booming European market, and (iii) strong investment in R&D (particularly to integrate AI technology bricks).

Business to be doubled by 2026

In addition, the company will be able to draw on its new financial partners to pursue its market consolidation strategy, initiated in May 2022 with the acquisition of Kannelle (Pitchy's mobile counterpart).

With this acquisition, the Pitchy Group has become the only player in the market to offer a complete experience from smartphone capture, through editing, to broadcasting. Through this development strategy combining organic and external growth, the company aims to double the size of its business by 2026. The company is also strengthening its governance structure, notably by increasing the number of independent directors to 3: Jean-Stéphane Arcis (Founder and former CEO of Talentsoft, sold to Cegid), Antoine Ganancia (Clipperton Finance, Partner) and Loïc Moisand (Founder and former CEO of Synthesio, sold to Ipsos).

A pioneer in its market since 2013, Pitchy was looking for the right growth capital partners to support the company in the next stage of its development.

Lionel Chouraqui

Président de Pitchy

"A pioneer in its market since 2013, and after a successful cycle initiated in 2017 with Seventure and Bpifrance, Pitchy was looking for the right development capital/growth partners to support the company in the next stage of its development. Of the various offers we received, Isatis and Entrepreneur Invest seemed the best suited to understanding our entrepreneurial, family-based DNA, while sharing our excitement about continuing to write the story of our product and our market with our customers. It was a natural fit in terms of values and pleasure. The renewed confidence shown by our historic shareholders, including Seventure Partners who, for the first time in its digital portfolio, is selling its stake while reinvesting with new funds, testifies to the high level of ambition we all share in this new phase of development. This major step will enable us to accelerate the consolidation of our market, and to continue deploying our product vision, particularly in terms of extremely promising AI components." says Lionel Chouraqui, Chairman of Pitchy.

Initially, it was a unique encounter with two charismatic managers, Lionel and Benjamin, whose human and entrepreneurial values are fully in line with those of Isatis Capital.

Partner, Isatis Capital

"Initially, it was a unique encounter with two charismatic managers, Lionel and Benjamin, whose human and entrepreneurial values are fully in line with those of Isatis Capital. Secondly, it is a rare positioning in the world of software publishers for a company that has been profitable since 2019 and is growing strongly, with a business model that has been based on recurring growth since the creation of Pitchy. All these qualities motivated our enthusiasm and our strategic interest in the company," says Laurent Baudino, Partner, Isatis Capital.
